October 2010 Newsletter

Oct 1, 2010                                                                                                    Vol 1

Here it is - the first ever monthly news letter from Cuddle Soft Kits!   This has been a great adventure.   While I was working in a retail quilt shop for the past 23 years I always said I would never open a quilt store.  Now here I am with an on-line quilt shop. Is that different? I am not sure why I chose to do this but I found such a good product and came up with such a great idea that I decided I wanted to share it with the world.  The good part is I don’t have to work fixed hours but the bad part is I like people and I miss the customers. I am enjoying talking to many of you on the phone.  I hope as I work to teach you and show you easy ways to make beautiful quilts and gifts; I can also make some great friends.

What’s new at Cuddle Soft Kits?

Cuddle Cubes from Shannon Fabrics are here. Cuddle Cubes are twelve 19” x 19” squares of cuddle fabric (fat quarters) in a cute gift box.  They come with a free pattern for a 60” x 70” quilt. This little pack is great for making a quilt or mixing the fabrics into other quilts.  Don’t we all love fat quarters?  Cuddle Cubes are available in 5 colors.  Check out the site to see all the patterns.  As you can see from the cute picture (that’s Clarissa, my granddaughter)  the patterns are simple and the quilts are so snuggly.

I just added a new “Show and Tell” tab on my web site.
When you send me a picture of the quilt or gift you made with your happy recipient in it,
I will send you a coupon for $10 off your next order of $100 or more!
I’d love to hear from you.

Make someone happy. Make them a cuddle quilt.
