Holiday Newsletter 2010

It ‘s the Holiday Season;  The time for giving, sharing and trying to find that perfect gift for the ones you love.   I love this season.

My greatest memories are of spending time making gifts for friends and family. There is nothing more rewarding that giving that one of a kind gift and knowing you made it.  I still have some pretty cherished hand-made pillowcases and doilies from my Grandma Murdoch that I received as a Christmas gift. They didn’t mean as much then, but now I know that hand- made is heart-made.   If you are still looking for that “perfect gift” I have it for you.  There is nothing that makes anyone feel loved like a Cuddle soft quilt.  Here are some great gift ideas.

I created this fun quilt using Tricia Cribbs new Turning Twenty Slaplique book. It was made Using two Cuddle Cube kits a some border fabrics. 

      




I also made this fun “Cuddle Brick Quilt” using one of my Adult Strip Kits.






I also kitted up new color ways for my best selling kit “My Pink Blankee”.  We needed a boy version.
