Want a treat from Cuddle Soft Kits? We've got lots!
Well, the rush is almost over and I am headed to International Quilt Market in Houston Texas. I am one of those lucky ladies that get to work at home for a great fabric company! I work for “Shannon Fabrics”, designing and teaching about what I love most: Cuddle fabric and quilts. (Well, after my family). Now, after a few months of planning and sewing we are ready to head out and meet the world of quilters.
As I will be unable to ship orders for a few days, I decided I needed to strike up a “Patience” deal. As a reward for being patient with my delayed shipping I am offering anyone who places an order from Oct 25th through Tuesday the 30th a free package of Schmetz #90 stretch needles. It’s kind of my “trick or treat” for you. Hope you enjoy the treat, and I will get the orders shipped on Halloween. What a great idea! No coupon code needed. Just order on those days and you get the treat. I will ship ASAP.
I had a fun call from a customer this week; she had a lot of questions about making the row by row quilts. We had a great visit and then she said that she had watched my how to video so many times that she felt like I was her new best friend. Well, that made me happy! I am always glad when I think I have helped someone master making one of these great quilts. I decided that maybe I should give you all a little encouragement to try one of our basic kits. I’ll give you a Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced Quilt Recommendation – with a “Trick” deal on the beginner. (You’ve got your treat with the free needles, and really the quilts just aren’t that tricky!)
Beginner: I think the Cuddle Throw is a great basic beginner quilt. It is just 11 straight strips. It’s a fabulous place to start if you haven’t ever made one of our kits. It’s not hard, and you’ll finish up feeling like the Cuddle-Soft-Quilt-sewing-hero that you are!
Intermediate: The next one to try would be the Grandma’s Cuddle Quilt. It has a few more pieces and then a few borders. It’s not hard; you just have to think a little more. It’s so much fun to finish these quilts. Make sure you take time to admire your handiwork properly: cuddled up with a book/show/hot cocoa and (optionally) a cute little grandchild or kiddo!
Advanced: If you’re up to a little more of a challenge, try the Brick Quilts. I have both a throw and a quilt size. It is pieced and then sewn with the row by row and is a really fun one to put together. These are gorgeous and a lot of fun to sew!
Just to get you to try your hand at making a Cuddle Soft Quilt, I am offering the Mocha/Pink and the Mocha/Blue Strip Quilt Throws (baby quilt size) in this fun kit for $35.99. It is really pretty with the Brown Paisley Backing (sold separately). Give it a try and then you’ll be ready for the big ones for Christmas gifts.
**Remember** Orders over $100 ship FREE!
(With that many tricks and treats – who needs candy this weekend?)
Keep your eye on the site, I am sure I will come home with some great new ideas for Christmas gifts and maybe even a few tips for sewing these great Cuddle fabrics.
Make someone happy, make them a cuddle quilt.
